About Mina

Mina Taspinar is a Toronto based multidisciplinary creative known for her use of vibrant colors. Born and raised in Turkey, she now lives in Canada and is fluent in both English and Turkish. She is double major graduate in Media and Creative Arts at Western University. While Mina focuses on caricatures, illustrations, and graphic design, other disciplines she has worked with include short filmmaking, collage, acrylic paint, and oil paint.

Mina loves how a simple illustration can hold many hidden meanings, much like poetry. Art makes her feel more connected to the world and, most importantly, to life. As she embraces her multidisciplinary style, Mina hopes to one day work as an illustrator.
